The European Voluntary Service (EVS)/ European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is an EU funded programme that gives young people (aged 18 to 30) the opportunity to volunteer in an organisation abroad. Volunteering projects can involve many different kinds of activities in areas such as youth work, cultural activities, social care or environmental protection. During their projects, EVS volunteers are provided with accommodation, food, a small personal allowance, language training and local transport.

An EVS/ESC project can last between 2 weeks and 12 months.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 to volunteer.
The European Voluntary Service (EVS)/ European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is an EU funded programme that gives young people (aged 18 to 30) the opportunity to volunteer in an organisation abroad. The funding covers travel expenses to and from the project as well as accommodation, food, a small personal allowance (”pocket money”), insurance, language training and local transport during the project.
