European Voluntary Service (EVS) vacancy in a school and youth centre in Litija, Slovenia
European Voluntary Service (EVS) is an international volunteer programme for 18-30 year olds, it is fully-funded by the European Commission.
Accommodation (in a shared apartment), food, insurance, pocket money, language training and travel costs are provided. All volunteers are provided with a supervisor and social and personal support in country. VSI is an accredited EVS sending organisation and carries out a comprehensive preparation and evaluation programme with our EVS volunteers as well as providing support during the placement.
VSI are recruiting for an EVS vacancy based in Litija, Slovenia with Gradec School and Litija Youth Centre from 1st November 2014 to 31st July 2015. The work for four days a week will be in Gradec School helping with different classes including English classes, alongside the teachers from the school. Pupils are age 6-14 years. For one day each week the volunteer will work in Litija Youth Centre helping with different workshops including workshops in the arts (theatre, painting, music) and cooking, employment services, educational assistance for children and various activities in leisure and sport. The young

European Voluntary Service Programme
European Voluntary Service (EVS) is a fully-funded international volunteer programme for 18-30 year olds. Accommodation, food, insurance, pocket money, language training and 90% of travel costs are all provided. Placements last from 2 to 12 months, as a volunteer you can work in a wide range of fields, such as youth, children, culture, arts, animal welfare, environment, development cooperation and sports. All volunteers are provided with a supervisor and social and personal support in country.
