Volunteer Project Coordinator needed for Killarney Project 10th – 24th August
Voluntary Service International (VSI) is seeking a volunteer to support our group of international volunteers who will work on rhododendron control in Killarney National Park.
The volunteer will help the volunteers to settle in, help to organise the group on a daily basis, develop and support good group dynamics, promote intercultural exchange and help to organise social activities. All the volunteers will live and work together for the two weeks sharing cooking and cleaning in a house in the heart of the National Park. Training will be provided before the project starts and coordinators will be supported throughout the project by VSI. You will get to know the international volunteers and the host organisation and develop your leadership skills.
Volunteering experience is essential. Experience of leading volunteer projects, youth exchanges or other kinds of projects would be useful but is not essential. You must be over 21 and have good communication and organisational skills. You also need to commit for the project days which are the following:
This is a volunteer role, your travel expenses within Ireland are covered and your food and accommodation are free and there are no fees.
