6 Volunteers needed for new Project in Midleton, Co. Cork 6-14 August

The project is based at a local school on 47 acres of land in beautiful countryside; there are some old buildings and a courtyard that have started to be developed in to a sustainable education centre. Over the past two years volunteers have built compost toilets and planted trees at the site. Last year SCI volunteers built a shelter for workers and storage area for tools and also cleared a lot of growth and vegetation from the site. 6 pigs live in the courtyard! Volunteers will help with clearing plants and overgrowth from the courtyard and buildings, uncovering cobblestones, possibly some light building/renovation work.
