The Eastern Europe Aid and Development Network ( VSI is an active member),are organising a conference: 'Going Forward Looking Back'- for Irish Charities working in Central & Eastern Europe on 25th & 26th February 2011, at NUI Maynooth, Co. Kildare.

Hosted by the Eastern Europe Aid & Development Network in partnership with the Centre for the Study of Wider Europe (NUI Maynooth). 'Going Forward Looking Back' - reflections on two decades of Irish charity work in Central and Eastern Europe', this book contains interviews with 31 volunteers and aid workers involved in the region over the past twenty years.

Official Launch by Mairead McGuinness, MEP at 7.30pm.
