VSI launches 2008 book of International Volunteer Projects

VSI has just launched its 2008 Book of International Volunteer Projects. It contains over 500 short term volunteering projects in 70 countries worldwide. The projects include:

• converting an old army barracks into a sustainable energy centre in Bulgaria;
• making nature trails at an ECO centre in Co. Meath
• helping with a food not bombs project in Finland;
• building a classroom onto a primary school in rural Kenya making a small playground at a school for children with special needs in Sri Lanka
• assisting with a peace education travelling project in Germany;
• working on an Interfaith Project in England
• help with organising an Esperanto conference in Belgium
