Dear all,
I came across BankTrack, an NGO supported by Friends of the Earth, Oxfam and many others. BankTrack is a network of civil society organisations and individuals tracking the operations of the private financial sector (commercial banks, investors, insurance companies, pension funds) and its effect on people and the planet.
We have put our resources and minds together to be effective in our work and coherent in our vision, but we remain independent organisations, each with our own way of doing things.
Very interesting site!

8. Amnesty International, My Name Is Rachel Corrie
You are invited to a reading and panel discussion presented by Amnesty International Irish Section in association with Fishamble: The New Play Company.
Saturday 15th March 2008; 8pm; Project Arts Centre, 39 East Essex St, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
A play that was postponed indefinitely in New York and cancelled in Canada. A true story of Rachel Corrie, a 23-year-old American, who travelled as a peace activist to the Gaza strip, where she was killed by an Israel Defence Forces Caterpillar D9 bulldozer in March 2003, while attempting to prevent a demolition of a home in a Palestinian residential area of Rafah.
Rachel was a gifted person, an idealistic humanitarian; her journals and emails from her time in Palestine have been edited by Katherine Viner and Alan Rickman, who directed the acclaimed play, "My Name is Rachel Corrie", first staged in April 2005 at the Royal Court Theatre, London. It went on to win the Theatregoers' Choice Awards for Best Director and Best New Play, as well as Best Solo Performance.
On the fifth anniversary of Rachel's death, Amnesty International in association with Fishamble: The New Play Company are pleased to present this special one-off reading of the play.
Tickets €28 & €22 (conc); now on sale from the Project (01 881 9613/4) and online at http://www.project.ie. All profits will go to Amnesty International.
